Hawks Youth Summer Camp

CHASKA, Minn -- The 2017 Chaska Hawks Youth Boys Basketball Camp took place this week at Chaska High School.

Campers from grades 5-8 were lead by Chaska Hawks players, coaches, and alumni. Head Coach Dana Kallman was leading the groups of young ball players through a day of competitive 5-on-5 games when I visited.

The participants were sepertated into teams based on their grade level, and were then matched up against other campers their age.

Chaska sophomores handle Jefferson in fourth straight win

CHASKA, Minn -- Chaska faced their third conference opponent of the season on Friday night at home.


The Bloomington Jefferson Jaguars are known for their slow-paced style and low-scoring affairs, the sophomore game was a plain example of those observations.

Chaska steamrolls Kennedy

BLOOMINGTON, Minn -- Chaska has shown their liability to make games close down to the wire this season, but that wasn't the case in Bloomington on Tuesday.


Chaska held a strong lead all the way through, and eventually won by 30. The final score was 96-66.

BLOOMINGTON, Minn -- After winning their fourth-straight game on Tuesday, the Chaska JV team looked to prolong that streak with a win against Bloomington Kennedy.


Chaska continued the work of their sophomore team in Bloomington, and gave Kennedy a run for their money right from the opening tipoff.


The Hawks had a solid grip around the Eagle team and didn’t let lose on either end of the floor.

BLOOMINGTON, Minn -- Chaska’s second contest of a three-game week was in Bloomington against the Kennedy Eagles. The Hawks were coming off of a quality win in Orono on Tuesday and looked to continue the success against a struggling Kennedy team.

Chaska beats Orono

ORONO, Minn -- The Orono Spartans had won 10 games in a row and posted an 11-1 record prior to meeting Chaska on Tuesday.


The Hawks were coming off of a hard-fought victory against neighbor Eden Prairie earlier in the month.
